The Sweet Baby Jade is a dwarf tomato variety renowned for its prolific production of oblate, cherry-sized tomatoes.These tomatoes ripen to a jade-green hue with a subtle okra tone, offering a juicy, fruity, and sweet flavor profile.

Plant Characteristics:

• Size: Compact, potato-leafed dwarf plants typically reach heights between 50 to 80 centimeters, making them ideal for container gardening.
• Growth Habit: Semi-determinate, these plants are strong and hardy, demonstrating resilience to drought and heat.
• Maturity: Early-bearing, with fruits ready for harvest approximately 65 days after transplanting, suitable for shorter growing seasons.

Origin:

Developed by Canadian breeder Karen Olivier as part of her “Short and Sweet” project, the Sweet Baby Jade is among other varieties like Emerald City, Ruby Slippers, and Yellow Brick Road.

Cultivation Tips:

• Planting: Ideal for large pots or containers due to its compact size.
